Zelostech, a Chinese developer of Level 4 self-driving urban logistics vehicles, has raised $100 million in a new tranche to bring its fundraising total at the Series B stage to $400 million.

Zelostech – which has deployed over 10,000 driverless logistics vehicles worldwide, predominantly across cities in China but also in overseas markets like Singapore and Malaysia – announced the completion of its latest $100-million Series B4 round on Tuesday. This comes just over six months after the startup unveiled an earlier $100-million Series B3 tranche.

Chinese fintech giant Ant Group led the Series B4 round, with participation from both new and old shareholders such as Blue Lake Capital and Baidu Venture, Zelostech said in a statement.

Investors in its earlier Series B tranches included Dinghui Baifu, an asset management firm affiliated with CDH Investments, Asia Investment Capital, Wuxi Venture Capital, and C&D Emerging Industry Equity Investment, among others.

Zelostech did not disclose its post-money valuation. The company was said to be valued at 11.7 billion yuan ($1.6 billion), according to the Chinese state-run Xinhua Daily Financial Media.

The new financing will allow Zelostech to step up its investment in the R&D of autonomous driving technology and strengthen its capabilities in product iteration, supply chain control, client services, and expansion into the global market, the company said.

With the mission of commercialising L4 self-driving for urban logistics, Zelostech was founded in August 2021 by Kong Qi, formerly the chief scientist of JD.com’s autonomous driving team, along with two other co-founders Zhu Weicheng and Zhuang Li, both of whom held senior positions in developing autonomous driving for Baidu and JD.com before starting Zelostech.

As of September 2025, Zelostech has deployed over 10,000 driverless logistics vehicles to offer express, fresh-food delivery, industrial logistics, and pharma cold chain, servicing clients like China Post and Tongda Express in China and supermarket chain Fair Price in Singapore. It also partners with logistics giant DHL Group for pilot projects in Dubai.

Zelostech said that it is in talks with the Singapore Changi Airport and other clients for potential collaborations.

Since the start of its going-global foray in 2025, the company has brought its self-driving vehicles to over 10 countries and regions, such as Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, the UAE, and Austria.

Zelostech signed a joint venture with Emirates Post, the UAE’s official parcel delivery service, in May 2025 to bring smart logistics solutions to the Middle East. In mid-2024, it became the first Chinese company to obtain an autonomous logistics vehicle licence in Singapore.
