Singapore-based deeptech startup SynaXG has secured more than $20 million in its first funding round, backed by January Capital, Vertex Ventures, and Qualgro.
The fresh capital will be deployed to scale up SynaXG’s product development and expand its engineering team, as well as strengthen collaboration with telecom operators and enterprise clients.
Founded by industry veteran Xin Huang, SynaXG focuses on AI-powered radio access network (AI-RAN) technologies for next-generation wireless infrastructure—a core focus the company expects to become foundational in the coming wave of connectivity innovation.
The startup offers a full-stack suite that includes RAN software layers, virtualised RAN components, radio-unit (RU) platforms, and end-to-end systems optimised for heterogeneous computing architectures. SynaXG is working with global technology leaders and telecom operators to build the future of AI-native wireless networks.
According to the startup, they position AI-RAN as a key enabler of what it calls “Physical AI”—i.e., real-world applications for robotics, autonomous systems, drones, industrial automation, and smart devices—applications that require ultra-low latency, high reliability and real-time adaptability.
“We believe AI-RAN is the foundation of the next technology revolution–much like the iPhone reshaped the mobile era,” said Xin Huang, founder and CEO, SynaXG. “With four years of pioneering work and strong global partners, we are ready to scale and lead the next generation of AI-native wireless networks and physical AI.”
Chin Chao, partner at January Capital, added, “A true deeptech AI-powered wireless-infrastructure startup is rare in this part of the world, and SynaXG is well-positioned to pioneer the next wave of innovation in this space. The team has both the ambition and the capability to shape the future of AI-driven connectivity, and we are proud to support them.”
SynaXG is preparing for its upcoming Series A round to support commercial rollouts and advance AI-native RAN adoption across global markets.
