Chek Technologies, an AI SaaS startup launched by teenage Filipinos, has launched an AI logistics platform in the country, while TDCX has acquired Open Access BPO.

Chek Technologies launches Intelogistik

Chek Technologies, a Philippines-based artificial intelligence-driven software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup founded by Filipino teenagers, has launched Intelogistik, an AI-powered logistics and enterprise systems platform.

Intelogistik, which offers both SaaS and enterprise-level solutions, integrates warehouse management, HR, communications, and real-time data analytics into a single interface.

The launch of Intelogistik comes as the Philippine logistics industry sees robust growth on the back of the e-commerce industry’s growing demand for last-mile delivery and warehousing services.

“We want to make everything a lot faster and more efficient, especially because we see a major disconnect in the technology currently being used in many enterprises,” said Christiansen Q. Hermosilla, chief technical officer at Chek Technologies Inc, told DealStreetAsia.

Intelogistik is co-founded by Hermosilla and Ellieken D. Lim.

TDCX acquires Open Access BPO

TDCX, a digital customer experience solutions provider, has acquired Open Access BPO, a US-headquartered business process outsourcing company with operations in the Philippines, for an undisclosed amount.

Financial details of the deal were not announced. Per the announcement, the acquisition adds delivery sites in the Philippines cities of Davao and Manila, and Taipei, Taiwan to TDCX’s global footprint.

Both firms will continue operating under their respective brands during the transition. Open Access BPO’s leadership, specifically Davidowitz, CEO; and Henry Chang, President and co-founder, will continue to serve as advisors.

Davidowitz said the outsourced CX industry is poised for growth, driven by the increasing demand for personalised customer experiences and adoption of advanced technologies.

“By joining forces with TDCX, we open more options for our clients and have greater scale to compete on the global stage,” he added.

The global BPO market is expected to hit $491.53 billion by 2029, with Asia alone growing at a compounded annual growth rate of 5.9% to become a $109.92-billion industry by 2029, data from Statista Market Insights 2024 showed.
