Pantheon sets up private wealth team in Singapore

Global private markets investor Pantheon has built a team of three in the city-state to deepen its private wealth coverage in Southeast Asia, as part of the firm’s broader Asia-Pacific expansion plans.

It is led by Pantheon managing director and head of International Private Wealth Victor Mayer, who has relocated to Singapore from London to oversee the business’ growth strategy for the Asia-Pacific region. According to Mayer’s LinkedIn profile, he was previously director at HSBC’s Alternative Investments Ltd before joining Pantheon in July 2021.

The team, which was set up this month, also includes Aidan McCluskey, who has joined the firm as principal, private wealth, from Australia-listed alternatives asset manager MA Financial Group; and Jamie Chong, who joins as an analyst from BlackRock in Singapore’s wealth distribution unit.

In April this year, Pantheon launched an evergreen, semi-liquid vehicle—the Pantheon Global Credit Secondaries Fund—that will give retail and institutional investors access to private credit assets acquired through stake sales by limited partners, and general partner liquidity events.

It will be available in more than 20 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Australia, and give investors a quarterly liquidity option.

The fund, which will invest in direct lending and opportunistic credit strategies, is the seventh product on Pantheon’s $10.6-billion global private wealth platform.

This follows the March 2024 launch of the private equity-focused Pantheon Global Private Equity Fund (PGPE). It is an open-ended, evergreen fund that allows investors outside of the US exposure to secondaries and co-investments across investment stages, fund vintages, and geographies. As at May 2025, PGPE had a net asset value of $472.3 million, with exposure to 49 GPs.

Separately, it has a private credit secondaries-focused evergreen fund, the AMG Pantheon Credit Solutions Fund, for investors in the US private wealth market.

In late 2023, Pantheon launched its office in Singapore, led by partner Brian Lim, who moved from Hong Kong.

Headquartered in London, Pantheon invests across the spectrum of private capital strategies, from primary fund commitments to co-investments and secondaries, in private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real assets asset classes. As of May 31, 2025, Pantheon has some $70.8 billion in assets under management.
