Composio and The Bear House have raised Series A funding, while Ankura Hospitals has secured around $19.3 million from Asian Development Bank.
AI startup Composio bags $24m in Series A round
AI platform Composio has secured $24 million in its Series A funding round from LightSpeed India, Elevation Capital, and Together Fund, among other investors amid increasing investor interest in AI-powered startups.
Established in 2023 by IIT Mumbai graduates Soham Ganatra and Karan Vaidya, the agentic AI startup enables businesses to automate complex workflows. Customers using the AI platform can connect tools like GitHub, Jira, Sendgrid, and PostHog to AI agents in less than five minutes.
The firm bagged $4 million in its seed round led by Together Fund and Elevation Capital in early 2024.
The Bear House secures $5.8m led by led by JM Financial
Bengaluru-based men’s apparel and accessories brand The Bear House has raised $58 million (Rs 50 crores) in a Series A funding round led by JM Financial India Growth Fund III. The company plans to use the capital for offline expansion, support working capital requirements, and branding and marketing initiatives.
Established in 2017, Bear House Clothing Pvt. Ltd. sells shirts, t-shirts, polos, denim, and footwear through its online platform as well as e-commerce platforms like Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Nykaa, and Zepto.
The company started its first physical store in Bengaluru in March 2025. It aims to launch around 20 stores across India over the next two years.
Ankura Hospitals snags $19 million from ADB
Super-speciality women and children care provider Ankura Hospitals has secured around $19.3 million (Rs 165 crore) from Asian Development Bank to expand its services and market presence as the healthcare provider plans to open new facilities in key cities in India.
Ankura Hospitals is expected to add five new hospitals with a total capacity of 500 beds, renovate the existing hospitals by adding more beds, medical equipment, and services, install rooftop solar power systems at some hospitals, and meet the working capital requirement in existing and new hospitals.
It will also expand affordable and quality maternal and child healthcare services in underserved tier-2 and tier-3 cities. It also aims to increase the use of government health insurance programmes and help lower-income people access quality medical facilities.
