Tiger Global has led a $50-million Series B+ round funding in zero-trust security startup DataCloak, it announced on Thursday.
The round brings the corpus raised by DataCloak to nearly $100 million since its inception in 2018.
The fresh round saw the participation of existing investors – Hillhouse Capital’s GL Ventures, Matrix Partners China, Jeneration Capital and GSR Ventures. The four investors had together put in $28 million in DataCloak’s first tranche of Series B round earlier this year.
Index Capital continued to serve as an exclusive advisor for the deal.
DataCloak will use the proceeds to accelerate product and technology innovation, promote market expansion, as well as to improve customer serviceability, it said.
Shenzhen-headquartered DataCloak provides cloud computing data security solutions for enterprises, which include source code protection and user privacy leakage prevention.
