India's markets regulator approves IPOs of Urban Company, boAt parent

India’s markets regulator has approved an initial public offering by Urban Company, a regulatory notice showed on Tuesday. Urban Company, which provides mobile app-based beauty and home care services, filed draft papers in late April.

The regulator has also approved the initial public offering (IPO) of electronics brand boAt‘s parent, Imagine Marketing, according to a document from the regulator published on Tuesday.

boAt, known for its headphones and smart watches, confidentially filed for an IPO in April. The Warburg Pincus-backed firm is targeting a valuation of $1.5 billion, according to local media reports.
