English learning platform SpeakX.ai has raised $16 million (around Rs 142 crore) in its pre-Series B funding round. In another development, Two Brothers Organic Farms has raised nearly $12.5 million (Rs 110 crore) in its Series B funding round from 360 One Asset.
SpeakX.ai raises $16m led by WestBridge
English learning platform SpeakX.ai has raised $16 million (around Rs 142 crore) in a pre-Series B funding round led by WestBridge Capital, with participation from Goodwater Capital and existing investor Elevation Capital.
The round also saw participation from angels, including Shyamal Anadkat of OpenAI and Ronnie Screwvala of upGrad.
The fresh funding will be used to enhance SpeakX’s AI technology, expand its team, and add regional language support, the company said in a statement. Currently, 70% of learners are Hindi-speaking, and within the next year, the platform will launch in Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Bengali, and other regional languages.
Founded in 2023 by Arpit Mittal, SpeakX.ai has positioned itself as the go-to platform for job seekers, students, and homemakers aspiring to advance through better communication skills. The platform reports over 1 million monthly learners, 200,000 active paying subscribers, and an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $7.5 million. SpeakX claims to have been EBITDA-positive since April 2025, generating $150,000 in monthly profits and $1 million in cumulative EBITDA over the past five months.
SpeakX.ai is targeting $100 crore (~$12 million) in annual EBITDA by 2026 and aims to build a $300–400 million business in India alone within the next 2-3 years.
Two Brothers Organic Farms raises $12.5m
Direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand Two Brothers Organic Farms has raised nearly $12.5 million (Rs 110 crore) in its Series B funding round from 360 One Asset.
The financing also saw participation of Rainmatter Investments, Narotam Sekhsaria family office, and IGNITE Growth Solutions’ founder and managing partner, Rahul Garg.
In a statement, the company said that it will use the capital proceeds to expand the company’s manufacturing capabilities and international reach, and scale operational capacity.
Two Brothers Organic Farms had last raised Rs 58.25 crore in its Series A funding round led by Rainmatter in June 2024. Back in April 2023, the startup had raised Rs 14.5 crore in pre-Series A funding from Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and cricketer Virender Sehwag.
Founded in 2019 by Satyajit Hange and Ajinkya Hange, Two Brothers Organic Farms offers a variety of products, including cultured ghee, herbal ghee, cold-pressed oils, native heirloom flours, natural sweeteners, single-origin spices, and native varieties of rice, pulses, legumes, and millets, among other products.
