Enterprise AI governance and security platform Singulr AI has secured $10 million in a seed funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners and Dell Technologies Capital, with participation from leading industry executives.

The startup also came out of its stealth mode and publicly launched its enterprise AI governance and security platform on Tuesday. The platform, already used by companies in the technology, finance, and healthcare sectors, can help organisations efficiently manage AI adoption and control AI surge, the company said in a release.

“We started Singulr to help enterprises rapidly adopt and operationalise powerful new AI technologies while managing costs and minimising risks,” said Shiv Agarwal, CEO and co-founder of Singulr AI.

While AI adoption is on the rise and companies are integrating GenAI in their workflows, it also makes them vulnerable to security risks and increased business costs.

According to the company, more than three out of four employees use unapproved “Shadow AI” tools, often linked to personal accounts that expose enterprise IP. The rise of agentic AI further increases the complexity, making enterprise-grade governance essential for scaling AI operations.

The SingulrAI platform is aimed at speeding up AI onboarding, stopping AI sprawl, reducing costs by avoiding unnecessary expenses on redundant and potentially unsafe tools, and eliminating Shadow AI by gaining complete visibility and control on every AI tool being used in the organisation.

The enterprise governance and security solutions provided by the company can be seamlessly integrated into enterprise environments without requiring infrastructure changes.
