Malaysia’s Nvsion has raised a multi-million ringgit fundraising round, while Indonesia’s Arummi Foods has announced the successful close of its seed funding round.
Nvsion completes multi-million ringgit funding
Nvsion Sdn. Bhd, a Malaysia-based technology company specialising in AI-powered automated optical inspection (AOI) solutions, announced that it has completed a multi-million ringgit fundraising round.
The sole investor in the round is Cambrian Fund, a venture capital fund focuses on Industrial 4.0 themes, marking the fund’s inaugural investment.
Nvsion was founded in October 2024 by managing director Jeffrey Chung and his team. It develops advanced AOI solutions that are critical for ensuring high precision, improving quality, and increasing efficiency in the outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) and electronics manufacturing services (EMS) segments.
Beyond semiconductors, the company also sees significant opportunities to extend its platform into other advanced manufacturing sectors where precision and throughput are critical, such as advanced electronics, automotive, and medical devices.
The new capital will be deployed to accelerate Nvsion’s growth across several key areas, including advancing its product development and rollout, recruiting top-tier talent, and expanding its customer base.
“We launched Cambrian Fund to back visionary founders building the next generation of global technology leaders,” said Kenneth Tan, CEO of Southern Capital Group, the manager of Cambrian Fund.
Arummi Foods closes seed funding round
Indonesia’s cashew milk company Arummi Foods has announced the successful close of its seed funding round, backed by BEENEXT, Korea Investment Partners, and Fondation Botnar (supported by SAGANA).
Founded on the belief that healthier food should be both sustainable and locally rooted, Arummi has rapidly scaled from a small lab experiment to distribution across 650+ retail stores, 3,000+ HORECA outlets, and more than 750,000 litres sold.
The round marks a pivotal milestone in Arummi’s mission to provide affordable, locally sourced dairy alternatives in a country where over 70% of the population is lactose intolerant.
“This round is about more than capital, it’s about conviction,” said Nacitta Kanyandara, co-founder of Arummi. “We’re honoured to work with partners who share our belief that Indonesian ingredients can fuel global innovation.”
