Thailand-based integrated food company Betagro has partnered with global allies to invest in BiomEdit, a U.S.-based animal health biotechnology company, while VentureTECH has announced a strategic investment in Y Us Sdn Bhd (Evenesis), an event management software solutions and managed services platform.
Thai Betagro Ventures invests in US-based BiomEdit
Thai integrated food company Betagro has, through its venture arm Betagro Ventures, partnered with global allies to invest in the Series B round for BiomEdit, a US-based animal health biotechnology company, according to an announcement.
BiomEdit announced the successful close of its Series B financing, led by Anterra Capital, with follow-on investment from Nutreco.
Betagro Ventures was among the new participants in the oversubscribed round (~$18.4 million), which also included AgriZeroNZ and Indiana’s Elevate Ventures.
The investment will support BE-101, BiomEdit’s lead candidate for preventing necrotic enteritis (NE) – related mortality in broiler chickens, to sustainably improve poultry production efficiency.

Malaysia’s VentureTECH invests in Evenesis
VentureTECH Sdn Bhd (VentureTECH), an impact investment company backed by the Government of Malaysia, has announced a strategic investment in Y Us Sdn Bhd (Evenesis), which is engaged in event management software solutions and a managed services platform.
The investment aims to accelerate Evenesis’ platform capabilities and drive regional expansion.
Evenesis streamlines and automates key event management processes, from registration and planning to post-event analytics. Evenesis will focus on expanding into Singapore, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia, where demand for digital event solutions continues to rise alongside the global shift toward immersive and hybrid business events.
VentureTECH is a government-backed impact investment company established to catalyse the growth of local industries, particularly Bumiputera, in high-tech industries through equity investment.
