Rusk Media raises funding led by IvyCap Ventures
Digital entertainment company Rusk Media has raised Rs 103 crore ($11.6 million) in its Series B funding round, led by IvyCap Ventures, with participation from LC Nueva, InfoEdge Ventures, Woori Venture Partners, and its promoters and family.
The company plans to use the corpus to fuel its vision of building impactful IPs and new-age content formats in India, and expand to the US, Europe, and EMEA markets.
Rusk Media operates at the intersection of entertainment and technology, producing web series, unscripted shows, short-form content, and live events supported by AI workflows and advanced production systems.
Potential investor eyes stake in Ixigo
A prospective investor is in discussions to acquire as much as a 16% ownership stake in travel technology company Le Travenues Technology Limited (Ixigo), according to media reports citing the firm’s regulatory filing on Tuesday.
The funding – if it goes through – could be a mix of primary and secondary share purchases.
In its filing with Indian stock exchanges, Ixigo disclosed that it has been approached by a potential investor interested in acquiring shares, either directly or through affiliated entities, but no binding agreement has been reached yet.
Established in 2007, Ixigo is a travel tech company that enables users to plan, book and manage their trips. It was listed on the Indian stock exchanges in June 2024 following its IPO.
