Digital Ventures-backed Ripple hits decacorn status with $200m Series C

Ripple, a blockchain-based digital payments company backed by Thai venture capital firm Digital Ventures, reached a valuation of $10 billion after raising $200 million in its Series C funding round, putting it in the ranks of companies called decacorns.
