Global law firm Morrison & Foerster has added Xiaoxi Lin as a partner in its Corporate Group in Hong Kong to enhance its private equity and M&A capabilities in Greater China, Asia, and the US.

Lin, who joins the firm from a major London-headquartered international law firm, brings over 15 years of experience to Morrison Foerster, per the announcement.

Macquarie appoints managing director in Singapore

Macquarie Asset Management has bolstered its Southeast Asia focus by appointing Gabriel Ho, formerly a partner at Dymon Asia Private Equity, as managing director based in Singapore.

Ho previously led investments in healthcare, logistics, education, and consumer sectors at Dymon Asia and also held roles at Baring Private Equity Asia and Morgan Stanley.

The appointment comes as Macquarie is responding to growing infrastructure investment demand in Southeast Asia, driven by rapid population and GDP growth, expanding middle-class consumption, and rising infrastructure needs.

Macquarie has invested in over 10 regional assets, including Bersama Digital Infrastructure in Indonesia, Energy Development Corporation in the Philippines, and 1 GW of solar projects in Malaysia through Blueleaf Energy.
