Indian financial services firm Equirus has partnered with industry veteran Srinath Srinivasan to launch a late-stage private equity fund with a target corpus of Rs 1,500 crore, while the FinTech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK) has appointed Jean-Louis Tse as CEO.
Equirus Partners to set up late-stage PE fund
Indian financial services firm Equirus has partnered with industry veteran Srinath Srinivasan to launch a late-stage private equity fund with a target corpus of Rs 1,500 crore.
Srinivasan will also join the board of Equirus Wealth and lead Equirus Alternatives, as the group expands its asset management business, it said in a statement.
The new fund will focus on mid-market growth investments across digitally led, AI-driven companies in sectors such as consumer, financial services, industrials, and healthcare, targeting significant minority stakes.
FinTech Association of Hong Kong appoints CEO
The FinTech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK) has appointed Jean-Louis Tse as CEO, according to an announcement.
In his new role, Tse will lead the association in strengthening its position as a “super connector” among Asia’s fintech ecosystems and in promoting Hong Kong’s status as a leading global fintech hub.
He will collaborate closely with FTAHK Chair Lareina Wang, as well as the newly formed board and committee co-chairs.
Tse brings over two decades of experience in fintech, wealth, and asset management. Before joining FTAHK, he served as Senior Vice President at iCapital and previously held senior positions at Pictet and Edmond de Rothschild, where he advised institutional clients and family offices on complex wealth structuring.
