Creador appoints senior advisor
Malaysian private equity firm Creador has announced the appointment of Syed Yasir Arafat Bin Syed Abd Kadir as senior advisor.
In this role, Syed will support Creador in identifying and facilitating strategic investment opportunities in Malaysia, with a particular focus on the healthcare & pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing, and B2B services sectors.
Syed will collaborate closely with Creador’s investment team, contributing sector insights, origination strategies, and strategic guidance.
Established in 2011, Creador focuses on South and Southeast Asia. Since its inception, Creador has raised over $3 billion across six funds and invested in 60 companies.
Indosuez appoints head of North Asia
Indosuez Wealth Management in Asia (Indosuez), the global wealth management brand of Crédit Agricole Group, has appointed Chua See Piu as head of North Asia Market.
Based in Singapore, he will oversee Indosuez’s North Asia region, driving business growth across key markets including China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
With over two decades of experience in private banking and investment advisory, See Piu brings deep expertise in managing ultra-high-net-worth and family office clients across Asia.
Before joining Indosuez, See Piu was managing director and market leader at BNP Paribas Wealth Management. Earlier, he held leadership positions at Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, JP Morgan, Citi Private Bank, and Nomura.
