Partners Group, one of the world’s largest private markets firms, has invested over $1 billion through its growth equity strategy in 2025 to date, according to a company statement.

So far in 2025, the private equity giant has closed seven transactions across growth buyout and minority growth investments, with notable momentum in the latter strategy spanning the US, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. Its sector focus remains anchored in technology and healthcare.

Some of its recent transactions include co-leading a fundraising round for KKR-backed Indian HR tech firm Darwinbox; acquiring a significant minority stake in restor3d, a US-based orthopaedic solutions innovator; and investing in Omie, a Brazilian cloud ERP provider.

The firm invests in growth equity opportunities through its growth focused open-ended evergreen fund, which is available to investors in the US; as well as other private equity products, it said. Its growth evergreen fund has reached $300 million in net asset value in 2025, less than a year after the launch last year.

The strategy targets both growth buyouts, referring to companies with scaled revenues and early profitability; and minority growth investments in fast-growing businesses with a clear path to profitability. Eligible companies must demonstrate differentiated offerings, strong product-market fit, and resilient business models.

“Our growth equity strategy has seen strong momentum over the last year,” said Todd Miller, partner for private equity. “We’ve backed exciting prospects across tech and healthcare, leveraging our ability to take either majority or minority positions. Our global platform and thematic research are helping us uncover more opportunities across continents.”

The milestone follows the firm’s expansion of the programme in late 2024, which included broadening sector coverage and scaling investment team resources globally.

Partners Group’s growth equity strategy is part of its broader private equity business, which manages $83 billion in AUM.
