Vietnam-based, mid-core mobile game studio Panthera Global has raised $1.5 million in a seed round led by T-Accelerate Capital, while CMC Global, a subsidiary of Vietnam’s CMC Technology Group, has signed an MoU with Japan’s NTT DATA and NTT DATA Vietnam to pursue a strategic partnership.

Vietnam-based, mid-core mobile game studio Panthera Global has raised $1.5 million in a seed funding round led by T-Accelerate Capital, with participation from CyberAgent Capital.
Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Hanoi, Panthera is a mid-core mobile game studio operating across the full game lifecycle, with a focus on building ARPG and open-world RPG experiences for long-term global player engagement. The studio has published three titles to date, surpassing 7.5 million total downloads, and has demonstrated consistent performance across user acquisition efficiency, retention, and monetisation.
The proceeds will be used to strengthen Panthera’s core development and live-operations teams, advance multiple mid-core RPG titles from production into global soft launch and live environments, and invest in data, analytics, and content systems that support long-term player engagement and scalable IP growth.

T-Accelerate Capital (TAC) is a global venture capital firm investing in gaming, consumer technology, and interactive media, while CyberAgent Capital is the venture capital arm of Tokyo-based CyberAgent Inc., a technology group with a very strong footprint in digital advertising, digital entertainment and mobile gaming.
CMC Global, NTT DATA seal strategic AI, IT delivery partnership
CMC Global, a subsidiary of Vietnam’s CMC Technology Group, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Japan’s NTT DATA and NTT DATA Vietnam to pursue a strategic partnership aimed at expanding cooperation in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
Under the partnership, the three parties will collaborate across three main areas: ensuring delivery capacity, coordinating business development activities, and accelerating research and development efforts.
The partnership will focus on building a delivery model capable of supporting large-scale projects with advanced technology requirements, including AI. NTT DATA will serve as the customer-facing lead, leveraging its expertise in large-system implementation and overall project governance. NTT DATA Vietnam will oversee the management of offshore IT service delivery from Vietnam to Japan and coordinate business activities with local partners.
CMC Global will be responsible for ensuring workforce readiness through recruitment and training, while providing solutions and services across AI, cloud computing, and data analytics. It will also work with its parent, CMC Technology Group, to expand joint business opportunities.
The companies expect the combination of their respective strengths to enhance capabilities in next-generation technologies such as AI, improve execution capacity for large-scale projects, and deliver more flexible and competitive services to clients.
The partnership with NTT DATA aligns with CMC Technology Group’s 2026 strategy, themed “Accelerate your AI-X,” which focuses on embedding AI into customers’ operational and growth use cases while upgrading service delivery standards in line with international best practices.
