Cradle Fund supports over 50 startups to date
Cradle Fund, a Malaysian government-backed early-stage startup enabler, has announced that its MYStartup Accelerator programme has, to date, supported over 50 startups and facilitated almost MYR 5.5 million ($1.3 million) in investments with a startup and venture capital firm NEXEA angel investors.
In a statement on Tuesday, Cradle said the programme—delivered in partnership with tech accelerator and venture capital firm NEXEA—has completed five successful cohorts. The MYStartup Accelerator provides early-stage startups with investment-readiness workshops, expert mentorship, and direct access to funding.
The accelerator is run by Cradle under the purview of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI).
“Having completed five cohorts, we’ve gained meaningful insights into the needs and challenges of Malaysian startups. These learnings will guide us in fine-tuning future accelerator programmes,” said Norman Matthieu Vanhaecke, Group CEO of Cradle.
