Lo! Foods raises $3.5m led by Rainmatter
Lo! Foods, a Bengaluru-based food startup, has raised $3.5 million in its Series B funding round led by Rainmatter, an initiative by Zerodha and Singapore-based Capital Code.
The funding also saw participation from Mount Judy Ventures, Ice.VC, KPB Ventures, and other existing investors, per media reports.
The fresh capital will be allocated toward expanding warehousing infrastructure, upgrading backend technology, initiating offline pilot programmes in Bengaluru, and boosting brand visibility for Protein Chef, Entrackr reported.
According to the company, the brand has rapidly emerged as Lo! Foods’ biggest growth engine, contributing significantly to the startup’s near-Rs 100 crore annual recurring revenue milestone.
Lo! Foods operates through four main product lines: Protein Chef (high-protein foods), Keto Smart (targeting weight loss), DiabeSmart (for diabetes management), and GlutenSmart (for those with gluten sensitivities).
In addition, Lo! Foods plans to introduce new product offerings and is preparing to rebrand DiabeSmart as Sugar Smart to better align with its market strategy.
