Malaysian startup Krenovator Technology raises funds

Malaysian AI-powered tech talent platform Krenovator Technology has announced raising fresh capital in its seed funding round anchored by venture capital investor Ignite Asia.

The startup did not disclose the amount raised. It said it will use the new capital to expand its team and marketing reach and support plans to triple revenue and double its client base over the next 12-18 months.

Founded in 2019, Krenovator provides enterprise clients with IT services by sourcing skilled tech professionals across Southeast Asia. The company serves industries including oil and gas, logistics, banking, manufacturing, and telecommunications.

Krenovator CEO Mahadhir Yunus said the investment validates Krenovator’s approach to tackling the tech talent shortage.

“Our AI-powered tech talent platform gives us an unparalleled advantage in sourcing top-tier tech talent in Southeast Asia,” Yunus added.

Vietnam’s FPT acquires Germany’s David Lamm Consulting

Vietnamese IT company FPT Corporation has acquired Germany-based David Lamm Consulting for an undisclosed amount, according to an announcement.

The acquisition forms part of FPT’s bid to expand its footprint in Europe and strengthen its digital capabilities in the energy and utilities sector.

It follows a partnership formed in October 2024 between the two firms to co-develop solutions for sustainable energy production and distribution.

FPT will continue existing projects under David Lamm Consulting, leveraging its global delivery network to ensure continuity.

David Lamm Consulting, known for its expertise in SAP, Salesforce, UI/UX, and system integration, will be integrated into FPT’s newly established Utilities Solution Practice under its European subsidiary.

FPT has operated in Europe for more than 16 years, building a solid local presence across nine countries. It has earned a reputation as a reliable digital transformation partner for companies in sectors such as energy and utilities, automotive, healthcare, and financial services.

Its client base includes over 150 major European firms, including E.ON, Schaeffler, Viessmann, Covestro, Volvo, and Siemens.

“With this valuable addition, FPT will further strengthen our position as a strategic partner for energy and utilities companies across Europe and beyond,” said FPT’s Nguyen Khai Hoan.
