InspeCity, an Indian space technology company, has raised $5.6 million in a seed funding round. The round was led by technology investor Ashish Kacholia, with participation from Speciale Invest, Shastra VC, Antler India, DeVC, MGF Kavachh and Anicut Capital.
The funding will enable InspeCity to space-qualify its technologies within the next 12 months, grow its engineering team, and accelerate deployment of its satellite life-extension platforms in global markets.
Founded in 2022 by alumni from IIT Bombay, InspeCity aims to build sustainability of outer space through cutting-edge propulsion, robotics, and sensing technologies designed to extend satellite lifespans and reduce space debris.
Novopor Advanced Science buys US-based Pressure Chemical
Novopor Advanced Science, a performance chemicals and material science CDMO, said it has acquired US-based Pressure Chemical, an affiliate of the Minafin Group and a leading provider of high-pressure and specialty chemistry services. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition will support continued investment in expanding Novopor’s facility footprint, enhancing technical capabilities, and providing customers with seamless access to fine and specialty chemical manufacturing at scale.
