In the latest M&A deals, Sterlite Power Tuesday announced that it has acquired Goa-Tamnar Transmission Project Limited for Rs 1,500 crore, while Energy Efficiency Services Ltd has acquired the UK-based Edina Power Services for Rs 493 crore. In a separate development, Videocon Industries Ltd said it has sold its entire 51.32 per cent stake in Liberty Videocon General Insurance Company Ltd to Diamond Dealtrade and Enam Securities Pvt Ltd.
