SixSense raises $8.5m
AI-driven semiconductor manufacturing startup SixSense has raised $8.5 million in funding led by Peak XV’s Surge, with participation from Alpha Intelligence Capital, Febe, and others.
Founded by engineers Akanksha Jagwani and Avni Agarwal, the company helps chipmakers turn raw factory data into real-time intelligence to improve yield and prevent production issues.
With the new capital, SixSense will expand into chipmaking hubs like Malaysia, Taiwan, and the US, deepen partnerships with AI-first inspection equipment makers, and invest in next-gen R&D focused on line-level factory intelligence.
SixSense’s platform is already used by players like GlobalFoundries and JCET, with over 100 million chips processed and results such as 30% faster cycles, 1-2% higher yield, and 90% less manual effort.
“Making a single chip is one of the most demanding feats in modern manufacturing,” said Jagwani. “That’s where AI becomes essential, to spot and fix problems before they spiral.”
Metaforms snags $9m
Metaforms, a Bengaluru-based AI startup transforming market research operations, has raised $9 million in a Series A round led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Nexus Venture Partners and Together Fund.
Founded in 2022 by Akshat Tyagi and Arjun S, Metaforms builds AI agents that help global market research agencies scale survey programming, data processing, and vendor coordination. Since its commercial launch six months ago, it claims to have signed four of the top 20 global agencies, including Strat7, and achieved a 100% customer expansion rate.
The fresh funding will help Metaforms triple its engineering and AI research workforce in India, expand into new use cases like report generation and voice-based research, and deepen integrations with tools like SPSS and Decipher.
