China's Hope Education picks 62.11% stake in Malaysian player Inti for $140m

Hope Education Group (Hong Kong) Company Limited, a subsidiary of HK-listed China Everbright Limited-backed Hope Education Group Co., Ltd, has agreed to acquire a 62.11 per cent stake in Malaysia’s leading private higher education player Inti Education Holdings Sdn. Bhd. for $140 million, according to a filing with Hong Kong stock exchange (HKEX) on Monday.
