China Deal Monitor: Xkool nets nearly $14m and more updates

AI-driven building industry startup XKool Technology has garnered nearly 100 million yuan ($14 million) in its Series A round from unspecified investors, according to a company statement on Friday. 

Founded in 2016 in Shenzhen, XKool develops solutions for urban planning and architecture design.

XKool has served over 100 property developers since 2018, including China Wanke Group, Wanda Group, Country Garden, Hong Kong Land Limited, New World Development Company Limited, among others. 

It will allocate the proceeds to enhance its applications and for business development.  

XKool’s previous backers include Vision Knight Capital, Oriental Fortune Capital, Bei Chen Capital, Tian An Financial Holdings, Hongtai Aplus, and South China Venture Capital.
