AI services firm Aivar on Thursday announced that it has raised $4.6 million in its seed funding round led by Sorin Investments with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners.
The funding will be used to expand Aivar’s presence across India, the US, and Middle East while it continues to invest in AI accelerators, senior talent, and global delivery capabilities, the company said in a statement.
Founded in 2024 by former AWS colleagues Kousik Rajendran, Praveen Jayakumar, Ashwin Ram Ravichandran, and Aadharsh Ayappan, Aivar is an AI-first technology services company that delivers AI projects for startups, technology-intensive companies, and enterprises, supported by AWS validation and early productised accelerators for voice, data and various AI/ML workloads.
“We’re disrupting the IT services landscape by augmenting human expertise with AI at every step of delivery, from strategy through development to managed operations. Our studio- and accelerator-driven approach combines the best of services and software, delivering outcomes in weeks that traditionally took months. This funding allows us to scale this AI-native model globally while continuing to build the specialised AI and cloud talent that makes sustained client success possible,” said Kousik Rajendran, co-founder and CEO, Aivar.
In less than a year of operations, Aivar said it has grown to more than 80 customers, working with startups and enterprises to move AI initiatives from experimentation to production. Operating as an end-to-end AI Studio, Aivar spans strategy consulting, custom AI solution development, and managed AI operations.
