We are delighted to announce the first set of influential speakers for the upcoming Asia PE-VC Summit 2025 in Singapore on September 10 and 11, 2025.

The 10th edition of our flagship Asia PE-VC Summit will feature 150+ top speakers who are leaders in private capital investing. Our speakers represent the region’s most active investors from limited partners to private equity and venture capital leaders.

  • Pandu Sjahrir, Chief Investment Officer, Danantara

Pandu Sjahrir was appointed as the Chief Investment Officer of Danantara, Indonesia’s new sovereign wealth fund that will manage over $900 billion in assets. Danantara is poised to become a dominant SWF in SE Asia. The mandate for Danantara includes creating and managing investment holdings and serving as an operational holding of state-owned enterprises. Through these holdings, Danantara can invest directly or collaborate with other parties.

Pandu Sjahrir is one of Southeast Asia’s most active multi-stage investors. He has been the Managing Partner of Indies Capital and founding partner of AC Ventures. Together, Indies Capital and AC Ventures have invested in over 100 companies.


  • Kerrine Koh, Managing Director & Head of Southeast Asia, Hamilton Lane
Kerrine Koh
Kerrine is a Managing Director in the Client Solutions Group, where she heads the firm’s Singapore office. She is primarily responsible for business development, as well as coverage of client relationships in SE Asia.

Before joining Hamilton Lane, Kerrine was the Head of Alternatives Distribution for Southeast Asia at BlackRock, where she was responsible for distribution strategy and client engagements.


  • Michael Liu, Managing Director, Portfolio Advisors
Michael Liu, Managing Director, Portfolio Advisors

Michael Liu is a Managing Director of Portfolio Advisors, based in Singapore, and serves as a voting member of one or more of the firm’s Investment Committees. He joined Portfolio Advisors in 2013 and primarily supports the firm’s Asia Pacific activities. Previously, he was a Vice President in the UOB Investment Management Division’s alternative investment FOFs advisory business where he had worked with Portfolio Advisors since 2006 through a joint venture.


  • Linda Mok, Director of Investments, Sarona Asset Management
Linda Mok Director of Investments, Sarona Asset Management

Linda is a seasoned private equity professional having spent 17 years in various capacities both as a GP and LP investor, and has successfully navigated through several market cycles. Before joining Sarona, Linda was Chief Representative for DEG, a German DFI, where she was responsible for the firm’s PE business in emerging Asia. Before DEG, Linda managed a fund of funds portfolio at NTUC Income, a social enterprise in Singapore.


  • Taimoor Labib, Founding Partner, Head of MENA and Chairman of Africa, Affirma Capital

Taimoor Labib is a Founding Partner at Affirma Capital and Head of the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Private Equity and Chairman of Africa Private Equity. He is based in Dubai.

Before Affirma Capital, Taimoor was Head of Africa & Middle East Private Equity business for Standard Chartered Private Equity, investing and overseeing an approximately $1.5 billion direct investment portfolio in leading companies across sectors throughout Africa and the Middle East.

Minette B. Navarrete

Minette is Vice-Chairman and President of Kickstart Ventures, Inc., the corporate venture capital subsidiary of Globe Telecom. She is a member of the Ayala Corporation’s Innovation Advisory Council and Globe’s Innovation Advisory Board. Minette has held several CEO/COO positions in various industries, ranging from Philippine startups to iconic global companies.


  • Melvyn Yeo, Managing Partner, TRIREC

Melvyn is the founder of TRIREC and an early-stage investor with more than 20 years of experience. Through his role at TRIREC, Melvyn is an active investor in several companies including Ample, FreeWire Technologies, Xpansiv, Pika and Oort Energy. He currently also sits on the board of Gush, Hungry Planet, Aether Diamonds and AirCarbon Exchange. Before starting TRIREC, Melvyn co-founded Thirdrock Group which was the leading Asian independent asset manager and was acquired by UK-listed Schroders in 2019.


  • Amit Kunal, Managing Partner, Growtheum Capital Partners

Amit is the Managing Partner at Growtheum Capital Partners. Previously, Amit was the Managing Director and Head of Direct Investment Group, Southeast Asia, at GIC where he led private equity investments in Southeast Asia. Amit was also an Investment Committee Member at GIC’s Private Equity group and co-led the ASEAN Business Group. Prior to GIC, he served as a Vice President in the Investment Banking Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Singapore and in New York.
