Animoca Brands, Rayls to partner on tokenised real-world assets

Animoca Brands announced that it has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Rayls, a blockchain ecosystem to bridge traditional finance with decentralised finance, for a strategic partnership focused on the tokenisation of real-world assets (RWAs).

The partnership will leverage Animoca Brands’ extensive network to spearhead the origination of RWAs by identifying asset classes and issuers for tokenisation on Rayls infrastructure. Animoca Brands will further support the structuring of the economic, technical, privacy, and utility parameters for the tokenisation of such RWAs.

NUVA, a unified and chain-agnostic vault marketplace, is expected to be used as a distributor of Rayls-tokenised RWAs. Rayls will provide NUVA with assets, technology, or services to enhance yields, liquidity, and investor engagement.

Rayls will supply the core institutional settlement and privacy infrastructure to NUVA. To support NUVA’s distribution of Rayls-tokenised RWAs, Rayls will also make available to NUVA cross-chain bridge solutions, the necessary technical interfaces, and settlement workflows.

Ant International to support Vietnam’s digitalisation drive

Singapore-headquartered Ant International has signed a strategic partnership with The Vietnam Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR Vietnam) to advance the country’s digital economy, foster innovation, and support Ho Chi Minh City’s ambition to become an international financial centre and regional fintech hub, according to an announcement.

C4IR Vietnam was established by the World Economic Forum and the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

Under the partnership, Ant International will be recognised as an official partner of the HCM City government, strengthening public-private collaboration to drive long-term sustainable growth

HCM City, C4IR, and Ant International will work together comprehensively across empowering SMEs, globalising the local digital economy, implementing emerging technologies, cultivating joint innovation, and developing talent.

Both parties will collaborate across several key areas to enhance Vietnam’s innovation ecosystem and ensure that businesses — particularly SMEs and startups—benefit from progressive policies, cutting-edge technology, and global connectivity.

Ant International will advise the city on regulatory strategies and innovation policies, leveraging Ant International’s 6T framework to attract global businesses; collaborate with HCMC and partners on joint innovation projects and tech capacity-building to advance the fintech ecosystem; strengthen SME competitiveness through tailored solutions from Alipay+, Antom, Bettr, and WorldFirst; and provide training and mentorship programmes in digital finance, cross-border payments, compliance, and fintech operations to support Vietnam’s shift towards an innovation-driven, inclusive economy.
