Navana.ai, developer of an artificial intelligence voice bot platform, on Tuesday announced that it has raised $800,000 in its pre-Series A funding round led by Antler India with participation from Ajay Agarwal, Ronnie Screwvala, and Sandeep Singhal.
Founded by Raoul Nanavati and Jai Nanavati, Navana.ai is building India’s foundational voice AI infrastructure through proprietary speech models that understand India—not just linguistically but contextually. The startup claims that its voice AI platform is trained on real-world Indian voice data, covering accents, dialects, and noisy environments.
“From Day 1, Navana’s mission has been clear: to democratise access to digital services for every Indian, whether in a Mumbai high-rise or a remote village in Bihar. Our proprietary Speech AI is fully designed, built, and deployed in India to understand the linguistic and cultural richness of Indian speech across geographies,” said Raoul Nanavati, co-founder & CEO, Navana.ai.
Navana.ai counts Ujjivan Small Finance Bank and Bajaj Finserv among its clients.
