Unacademy fires 12% of its employees in fourth round of layoffs in a year

SoftBank-backed Unacademy will let go 12% of its employees as the edtech firm continues to grapple with rising costs amid pressure to turn profitable, according to an internal memo seen by DealStreetAsia. This is the company’s fourth round of layoffs in 12 months.

According to its LinkedIn page, the company has over 7,500 employees.
