HomeRun, an Indian quick commerce platform for construction and interior materials, has raised $12 million in a Series A+ funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners, per an announcement.
The round also saw participation from existing investors Sorin Investments, Titan Capital, Sparrow Capital and Consumer Collective by Atrium.
The fundraise comes a few months after the company raised $6.6 million earlier this year.
HomeRun said the fresh capital will be used to expand into new markets and invest in supply chain and technology.
Founded by Pukhraj Grewal, HomeRun supplies construction and interior materials to contractors and homeowners through its platform. It claims to have delivered more than 100,000 orders, with Bengaluru as its largest market.
“Building material procurement in India has remained fragmented and inefficient for far too long,” Grewal said.
Nexus, an early-stage venture capital firm, manages $3.2 billion in capital across funds. Its portfolio includes logistics company Delhivery and quick commerce startup Zepto, among others.
The construction materials market in India remains largely fragmented, with contractors and homeowners often relying on multiple suppliers, leading to price uncertainty and delays.
Startups are increasingly looking to address these gaps by offering faster delivery and easier ordering, as demand from housing, renovation and infrastructure projects continues to grow.
