Salim Group has bought Keppel’s stake in their Indonesian data centre joint venture, formerly known as IndoKeppel Data Centres; the company now operates as IndoData Center. In an unrelated development, Gojek Singapore has expanded its partnership with ComfortDelGro’s Zig platform, allowing Gojek users to book Zig taxis through the Gojek app.
Salim Group buys out Keppel’s stake in Indonesia data centre JV
Salim Group has bought Keppel’s stake in their Indonesian data centre joint venture, giving the conglomerate full ownership of the business as it positions the platform to tap growing demand from artificial intelligence and hyperscale customers.
Formerly known as IndoKeppel Data Centres, the company now operates as IndoData Center. It said in a LinkedIn post that Salim Group acquired Keppel Data Centres’ stake in December 2025.
Salim Group did not disclose the value of its acquisition of Keppel’s stake.
IndoData said it has secured up to 500 MW of power capacity under contract with state utility PT PLN (Persero), providing room to expand its data centre footprint as demand for high-density computing grows. The company said it is focused on serving hyperscalers, cloud providers and AI companies through built-to-suit facilities that can be deployed and scaled according to customer requirements.
The platform is also expanding its existing operations and has completed an additional 6 MW of IT load for an existing hyperscale customer.
The data centre business was established through a partnership between Salim Group and Keppel. In 2018, the two groups announced plans to develop a data centre campus in Bogor, West Java.
Salim Group already has exposure to the sector through its investment in PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (DCII), one of Indonesia’s largest data centre operators.
The full takeover also marks the end of the Salim-Keppel joint venture structure, allowing Salim Group to directly steer IndoData’s expansion and pursue new opportunities in Indonesia’s rapidly growing digital infrastructure market.
Gojek expands Singapore taxi tie-up with ComfortDelGro
Gojek Singapore has expanded its partnership with ComfortDelGro’s Zig platform, allowing Gojek users to book Zig taxis through the Gojek app.
The companies said on Monday that GoTaxi bookings can now be matched with taxis from Zig’s network. Zig operates Singapore’s largest metered taxi fleet, according to the companies.
The expanded partnership follows an existing arrangement under which selected GoCar bookings are fulfilled by Zig taxis. GoTaxi and Zig rides will continue to be charged according to the taxi meter, with standard platform and payment transaction fees applying.
For Zig drivers, the companies said the arrangement opens up access to additional booking demand through Gojek.
Gojek Singapore currently offers GoTaxi alongside GoCar, GoCar XL, GoCar Kids, GoCar XL Kids, and GoCar Premium
The partnership announcement comes shortly after GoTo disclosed a change in its senior management.
Catherine Hindra Sutjahyo has resigned as vice president director of GoTo Gojek Tokopedia, citing personal and family reasons, the company said in a separate Aug. 28 disclosure. GoTo will seek shareholder approval for her resignation at an extraordinary general meeting scheduled for Oct. 14. The company said her departure would not have a detrimental impact on its operations, legal position, financial condition or business continuity.
Sutjahyo has been with the group since 2017, when she joined as chief food officer overseeing GoFood, GoTo’s food delivery business.
