Pune-headquartered predictive AI startup Intangles has raised $30 million (about Rs 266 crore) in funding led by Avataar Venture Partners, per an announcement.

The round also saw follow-on participation from Baring India Private Equity and Cactus Partners.

Founded in 2016, Intangles claims to have developed Inroute, which it describes as the world’s first AI platform for vehicles. Inroute can reportedly alert fleet owners to potential vehicle failures with identified causes—up to a month in advance, and with around 95% accuracy.

The startup plans to use the corpus to accelerate the global rollout of its predictive AI systems.

The company also said that its technology helps shift the industry from reactive monitoring to predictive maintenance, resulting in cost savings for customers.

“This investment strengthens our ability to expand that architecture across geographies and industries that are grappling with increasing volatility and complexity,” said Anup Patil, co-founder and CEO at Intangles. “The path forward is about scaling intelligence that is responsive by design, capable of navigating uncertainty without being limited by it.”

Intangles is present in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East and is said to manage a fleet of over 400,000 vehicles across sectors, including long-haul transport, transit, construction, and mining.
